A Rottweiler brutally attacked 52-year-old Shue Leung in North Baddesley, leaving her with disfiguring facial injuries and lasting scars.
While walking her pet on Fleming Avenue, Shue Leung and her Shih Tzu came under attack from an unleashed Rottweiler. As she tried to protect her dog, the Rottweiler knocked her down and bit her face.
Leung described the attack: “I lifted my dog, but he knocked me down.” Despite her defense, the Rottweiler severely injured her face. A bystander called an ambulance, and she needed 70 stitches at the hospital.
After the attack, Leung admitted, “I can’t face my reflection.” The ordeal’s physical and emotional scars make her dread work and fear future dog encounters.
